CITLUK, Bosnia (April 30, 2015) – The U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team bounced back from an April 28 loss to the Bosnia & Herzegovina U-19 National Team, concluding its April camp with a 1-0 win over the team.

Mukwelle Akale was the game’s lone goal-scorer. In the closing minutes of the first half Emannuel Sabbi chested down a deflected ball and made a move into the box, where he was dragged down by a Bosnian defender to set up a penalty kick. From there Akale buried the PK, scoring what proved to be the game winning goal. The goal was Akale’s second in as many games. The forward also scored in the U-18’s first match against Bosnia.

Goalkeepers Jonathan Klinsmann and Mason Stajduhar each played a half with Klinsmann starting and holding Bosnia scoreless in the first segment and Stajduhar making some crucial saves to preserve the shutout in the second.
